If you’re a young east Londoner looking to get into the creative industries, then the Good Growth Hub is for you. Our doors are open to anyone aged 18 to 30 who lives, grew up or studied in the surrounding boroughs of the Olympic Park: Newham, Hackney, Waltham Forest and Tower Hamlets.
At the Good Growth Hub, we’re on a mission to connect local residents and under-represented groups with employment opportunities, particularly in the cultural, creative, fashion and technology sectors. We have a huge network of partners and a bunch of different resources available to you to help get your foot in the door. We offer programmes and training that are co-created with employers and members of the industry to make sure you get the sought-after skills you need to stand out. Through us, you can also access paid opportunities such as freelance work and traineeships where you’re guaranteed to earn at least the London Living wage.
At the Good Growth Hub, we believe in community. We can help you through every step of your journey with careers coaching, advice and guidance. But it’s not just us that you’ll get support from. As a hub for young, creative talent, you’ll be introduced to like-minded people and boost your network. Every young person also has the opportunity to connect with an industry mentor that you can build a career-long relationship with.
